Industrial watertube boilers typically produce steam or hot water for industrial process applications, and are used less frequently for heating applications. The watertube design is one in which the tubes contain steam and/or water and the products of combustion pass around the tubes. The industrial watertube design is noted for its fast steaming capacity.
