This is a two-day class on the disassembly and assembly of an ANSI style process pump. There will be a thirty minute overview on the basic components of a centrifugal pump, and their functions. The all day course covers pump operations, and proper setting of mechanical seals, bearings, impellers & shafts.Learn basic pump and seal failure analysis. Analyze impeller and case wear and discuss likely causes. Learn New Technology. Use precision tools for checking bearing fits, shaft runout and concentricity. Total time for the course is 16 hours.

Topics will include reducing pump costs and increasing reliability through proper pump and material selection, use of variable speed drives, pump monitoring protection, mechanical seal material guide, flush systems, auxiliary controls and new dry running seals. The format includes lecture and interaction with the class. Many field examples with photos are used along with actual pumps and seals to enhance the learning process. Total time for the course is 8 hours.

This class is designed and conducted to provide the basic knowledge and hands-on training to any person involved in the day-to-day operation of Warren Rupp air operated diaphragm pumps. The focus of this school is geared toward the end user or repair specialist within any organization.
