Diesel
Across the world train transportation continues to be active. Every locomotive Engine requires fuel. Every train yard should have refueling facilities. This requires pumps!  

blackmer GX and X model pumps are terrific at handling diesel fuel. Typically the viscosity is low (30-100 SSU). With zero vapor pressure the diesel fuel can be lifted from underground storage tanks with ease. A vertical lift of 12 feet is not uncommon. 

Customers enjoy using blackmer pumps due to low maintenance. Typical "mean time between maintenance" (MTBM) can be as long as 2-3 years. When the pump requires a set of new vanes to return to "as new" efficiency, only a few minutes downtime, with the pump remaining in the piping, is necessary.  

blackmer pumps last longer (5-10 times over the competition). The pumps self-adjust to retain high efficiency. All GX and X pumps found in the Is Available Currently (ISAC) program will work for diesel refueling applications.
