Aviation Fueling (AVGAS)
The aviation industry continues to grow and expand. From the smallest airstrip to the largest international airport all planes require fuel. This can range from fueling a 2-seater Cessna with an FM Approved 210A Hand Pump to refueling a Boeing 777.  

blackmer Models X, GX, MLX, or HXL will provide the long life and excellent service or customers have come to expect from Blackmer. With flow ranges from 5 to 2000 GPM, loading trucks for transfer to tank farms, off-loading the trucks, and transferring fuel to the airport's fuel hydrant system are all typical applications for blackmer pumps. With extremely low maintenance requirements we are preferred by many original equipment manufacturers who design cabinet or skid-mounted packages.  

With the strainers, filter-separators, and long pipe hose lengths required you will often encounter relatively high working pressures. It is not unusual to find a requirement of 60-125 PSI. Aviation fuels typically contain very light (high vapor pressures) additives that require special attention when applying our pump equipment. The intake conditions of the system MUST be carefully reviewed to insure the suction pressure does not result in cavitation. If in question, contact the blackmer Application Specialists.
