Workshop
Overview
This two-day training workshop
is designed for maintenance, plant, stationary or mechanical engineers
as well as maintenance personnel who are responsible for new or repair,
and troubleshooting of boilers. However, anyone seeking a basic working
knowledge of boiler room equipment, with select hands-on instruction will
benefit from this class. This course provides a certificate approved by
the CWEA (California Water Environment Association) and the AFE (Association
for Facilities Engineering) and the hours can be applied towards the continuing
education requirement for re-certification. This workshop will address
the minimum state requirements for boiler operators and can be a part
of their training to meet those requirements in order to comply with the
law.
| AGENDA
|
Day One
Starting with “The Basics”, attendees will participate
in entertaining “open forums” and world class training
videos combined with the instructor’s 25+ years of in the field,
hands-on experience to answer all your boiler system questions. |
Day Two
After guiding you through the design and thermodynamics of day one,
attendees will work on the hands-on demonstrations with live lab
modules of control systems commonly found on boilers. The overall
objective of the workshop is for the recipient to become familiar
with control operation, so that routine maintenance and troubleshooting
can easily be accomplished.
