It is designed to keep your boiler room operating at peak efficiency - eliminating avoidable emergencies that can lead to costly downtime and increase your boiler's lifetime with a planned maintenance program.

The R.F. MacDonald Co. Assured Efficiency Plan typically consists of one annual service (Section I) and additionally one to three inspections (Section II) to ensure optimum equipment safety, reliability, and efficiency.

• Customized Program: This program has been customized to provide our customers optimum and economical support in maintaining equipment operating requirements. Your customer service representative will assist you in renewing your Proactive Maintenance program prior to its annual expiration date. 

• Field Service Personnel: R. F. Mac Donald Co.’s team of factory trained professionals will provide you with the highest quality service and recommendations necessary to achieve optimum efficiency and dependability. 

• Emergency Service (24 Hours): As an AEP customer you will be given the highest priority in the event emergency service calls or repairs are required. 

• Factory Equipment/Parts: R.F. MacDonald Co. uses Genuine Factory replacement parts to ensure optimum Reliability and Efficiency. 

• Economical Approach: Our customers will receive a 15% discount on all covered equipment parts requirements.  Your discount will be in effect for the duration of the contract period.

• Documentation: Section I and II report forms are completed by our field service personnel upon completion of the inspections and submitted to you for your review and permanent records.

• Inventory: R.F. Mac Donald Co. has over $1,000,000 in boiler parts inventories in California and Nevada.  This enables us to provide you with immediate parts replacement.

• Service Department: Our highly automated and computerized Service Department will notify you in advance of the anticipated schedule date and confirm you are ready for service. We track all equipment in our system to ensure we have the proper parts to better serve you and minimize down time.

The Boiler Care Handbook is designed as a guide to reinforce the most important aspects of your boiler operating and maintenance manual. Use the handbook as a further aid to achieve the safest, most reliable, and efficient operation of your boiler. Although the firetube boiler is most often referred to in the handbook, many details given here apply to other types of boilers.
