The CBEX Dryback Elite is designed with CB’s exclusive “EX” technology. The CBEX steam and hot water boiler offers superior combustion and extended surface tubes that transfer 85% more heat than traditional tubes. The CBEX Dryback construction offers access to all parts of the boiler for ease of maintenance.

Using finite element analysis, engineers designed the CBEX Dryback Elite to optimize every component of the boiler, including the burner, the furnace, and the tubes, and provide uniquely balanced temperatures and heat loads. The boiler has a larger furnace and simplified design for reduced stresses within the vessel.
Extended heat transfer tubing only found in EX systems uses Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) calculations to optimize the geometry of the tube and increase heat transfer by 85%. The result of the advanced heat transfer design is higher efficiency and lower emissions.
The CBEX Dryback Elite is generally 20% smaller than other firetube models and heats up 20% faster. Its dryback construction offers unencumbered access to all parts of the boiler for ease of maintenance. The CBEX Dryback Elite has the lowest cost of ownership and is specifically designed to fit inside a shipping container, making available a complete mobile boiler room up to 1000 HP.
Integration of the core components is the key to the CBEX systems. The superior Hawk control allows the boiler to run at the absolute maximum efficiency. Reduce fuel use with the optional stack economizer by recovering waste heat from flue gases and using it to preheat boiler feedwater. The LevelMaster low-water cutoff and pump control is the safest control available.
