R.F. MacDonald Co. supplied and installed an emergency boiler rental skid for a central valley medical center after two of their boilers began to fail
The rental skid is currently being tested to verify its capability to sustain daily hot water requirements. Once testing of the boiler rental skid is complete, RFMCO will replace the two failing boilers with new high-efficiency, low emissions Cleaver-Brooks CFC-E hot water boilers.
The medical center chose R.F. MacDonald Co. because of their in-stock boiler inventory, quick turnaround and ability to meet the Central Valley’s Air Pollution Control District (APCD) requirements.
Because of regulations set by the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD), the medical center needs to have 100 percent backup at all times. The rental skid will backfill the medical center’s hot water requirements while RFMCO is installing the new CFC-E hydronic boilers.
