R.F. MacDonald Co. builds state-of-the-art repair facility to become the premier pump support provider in California, Nevada and the Western U.S.
In an effort to grow our company’s Pump Division, R.F. MacDonald Co. has successfully built and completed the new pump repair facility, which includes 5,000 sq. ft. of crane coverage, cranes with a 10-ton lifting capacity and all major types of repair equipment.
The R.F. MacDonald Co. Pump Division began in 1956. And prior to the new Central Pump Repair facility, each parent office maintained its own pump repair shop. The project began in 2018 with President Jim MacDonald announcing his goal to increase RFMCO’s pump business overall. As a result, each satellite pump repair shop is now supported by the centralized pump repair effort.
The new strategically placed CPR facility is located hours away from each office and close to all major highways. The successful development of the Central Pump Repair facility is due in part by the well-organized, well-established Fabrication Dept., which began in 2001.
Pump technicians in the CPR facility complete a comprehensive pump inspection checklist for each pump we see. Each step is documented, giving all customers a high-level of communication, accurate documentation and follow-up support by our factory-trained technical staff, including parts specialists and engineers.
R.F. MacDonald Co. is capable of completing any repair on any rotating equipment or mechanical repairs including pump rebuilds, inspection & analysis, dynamic balancing, specialty coatings, machine shop weld repair, etc. on vertical turbines, centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps and more.
