RFMCO exhibited at the Sacramento Unified Wine Symposium, which is the largest wine and grape conference in the nation
Each year, RFMCO showcases our product strengths at the Unified Wine Symposium with case studies and at least one new industry improvement.
Hot water in the winemaking process is used primarily for cleaning and sterilization. Hot water is used to clean floors and to clean all winemaking equipment including barrels, tanks and pumps. Cleaver-Brooks and Camus boilers are leading in clean and environmentally friendly gas-fired and electric boilers – known for low-cost operation, low (and no) NOx and sulfide pollution.
RFM specializes in complete skid packaged systems for the wine and beverage industry, including boilers, pumps, heat exchangers and control valves delivered on a pre-piped, pre-wired fully assemble system.
While boilers are important, pumps are needed to move wine through the winemaking process. RFMCO showcased Sandpiper, Boerger and Seepex pumps as the leading industry pumps for moving wine with little agitation (excessive oxidation can ruin the taste of wine) while handling wine sediment and solids without jamming. R.F. MacDonald Co. has also been known for building strong, durable pump handcarts with a fast turnaround.
